Been able to get a few minutes of cutting and grinding in between the relentless storms have been hitting us. That's some stuff pre-cut and dropped. Have quite a few triangular shapes happening. I was excited to work this piece of Moroccan agate. I started grinding in a small pit appeared. I thought I would grind through it. Not so much

Really pretty. Maybe a wrap design could come up and hide that with a little swoop-de-swoop of some sort. Glad you are able to get some, hopefully de-stressing, grinding time!

Pretty moss! Bummer about the pit, but you can always just make the cab smaller. It would still be a beauty.

That would have been sooo sweet! But, like Robin said, you can still get a smaller cab.
I love triangular cabs.

Fit a blue gemstone in that pit? It's a beautiful stone.

Interesting idea dirtsifter. That one hadn't crossed my mind. I thought about filling but it's big enough that I think it would look terrible. I'll probably cut it. I'm thinking about just mirroring the top shape on the bottom. I might try filling it and then I can always cut it off after words when it looks like crap.

Perhaps obsidian or even gold in the pit. Something that would pick up and heighten the stone or contrast it. Peridot or emerald I would agree look nice. I'm partial to a blue corundum. Lots of options but you are the artist. Bon chance. Please let us see what you do with it.
