Hi all, I have a DP Titan (old model) and dislike the "spitter" business. My air pump is long gone and I use a small compressor to pump air to the spitters. I also have a Raytech GSP-8 which I think is a much more versatile machine due to it's variable speed and I have the water feed powered by a submersible fountain pump. When I was at the Quartzite show five years ago I met a guy who told me he converted his Titan to a water feed system with a small spray jet for each wheel. He did not remember where he got the small spay jets from. My question is has anybody here converted a Titan to pressure water feed, and where did they get the parts? Thanks!!

Check with the makers of the CabKing (cabking.com) as they use a pressure feed system and would probably have all the parts you need.

Thanks, I'll check into that. I think those are drip valves for gravity feed, I'd really like spray jets for pressure water feed.

I can't help you with rigging up the whole water system, but here's the spray nozzles I found to use on my KN cabber.

Hi Patty, thanks! But nothing shows up in your post as far as photos or catalog info goes.

I'm not sure why the links didn't work - but here they are directly.
You should be able to see the photos of what I did in the post- but my KN Cabber already has a water system, I just upgraded the nozzles.

EDIT - for some reason ( at least on my computer) the direct links aren't working either - so you'll need to cut & paste them to get to the exact products on Amazon.

Thanks Patty, those look pretty nice! I can make a water manifold and plumbing. Would just have to figure if the length of these will adapt to the Titan with enough clearance to the wheels. They are cheap enough to order some and work out a way to fit them. I have a recirculation system I made for my GSP-8 using a five gallon bucket and a fountain water pump with a cheesecloth filter to keep grit/stone residue out of the water to the machine, but have a sink close to the Titan so I could use warm water if I choose.
Anybody else have any good ideas? Metal spray jets or nozzles?

Hi Vegas, those look pretty interesting. One thing about pumps though is you have to make sure the lift specification is right for your usage. A circulation pump will not have the lift to get water from a floor situated tank to a table top. I use a fountain pump from Home Depot for my GSP 8. It was more like thirty-forty dollars for one with four feet of lift. I had to neck the hose down a couple sizes from the pump to the machine but it works well.

I am not planning on using the pump from the floor since the trays are also ceramic and I do not want to drill them. So I plan to make a filtered reservoir in the trays.
