These tiger eye pieces started out as one Marquis cab until I dropped it on the concrete floor. I think I like it better this way.

Beautiful. At least they didn't break into a million pieces you couldn't use. I really like the shapes. I was trying to picture a large marquis shape and decided I like these better, too.

May sound crazy, but I drop my slabs before cabbing. Not to concrete from bench height but I try to drop them flat on a hard surface from 2-3 feet. Some break, some don't but I almost never get a cab that breaks when thrown from my polishing disk since I have already discovered the hidden fractures. Those slabs that don't crack always cut solid cabs.
