My stepmom said she would like one of my pendants, I just wrapped this one but I'm not sure I'll give it to her. Not my best work....I've been out of the wrapping game for a bit.  |

When I haven't done it in awhile, I use copper and knock out a quick wrap to get my fingers warmed up. Maybe you can redo this after doing something in copper. Not that I think you have to.... but it is your step mom. You got a lot right, but I can see that you've done better work. 
I think you could save this by moving that binding up to the top on the right (in the picture) and then carefully unbend the locking wire a little and reposition your pliers to turn your lock wire in higher - towards the binding wires. That would help.

I'll bet she would have loved it even with it not being perfect in your eyes. Now go do a wrap for her and remember it is handmade not perfect.
