Inside doesn’t look sealed. Meaning I believe it will become saturated with oil and potentially weep oil

It wouldn't be too bad if there was some kind of liner in it... I'm not going to lie...I do wonder about the overall stability with the housing being made from plywood...I can't imagine it staying "true" with the cuts for an extended period of time...

Kit is interesting though, nice vice carriage design. I someone with skills and time could get it for about $400.00, scrap the wood, and build a steel tub and lid for it they could end up with a good saw.

I saw a HF frame press at a sale Saturday, thought it might be nice to get it and make a brake for bending sheet. Then I came to my senses...

I built my slab saw with a plywood box. I even fiberglassed the corners and sealed the whole thing inside and out with the resin... It still leaks 😂
