I was thinking that same thing! It wouldn't be too bad if there was some kind of liner in it...

I'm not going to lie...I do wonder about the overall stability with the housing being made from plywood...I can't imagine it staying "true" with the cuts for an extended period of time...

They always do, and virtually impossible to clean, especially when lined with resin.
Kit is interesting though, nice vice carriage design. I someone with skills and time could get it for about $400.00, scrap the wood, and build a steel tub and lid for it they could end up with a good saw.

I even fiberglassed the corners and sealed the whole thing inside and out with the resin... It still leaks 😂
