I needed to replenish my shop with some local Petoskey stone pendants. A few other stones that had been in limbo for way to long got wrapped while I was at it.

I really like this one. Pretty sure it is rainbow pet wood from Arizona.

This was a small thin scrap leftover from previous cab work. I actually think it turned out very wearable.

I just tried purchasing a bunch of "premium" Petoskey stones. So far I have cut 8 cabs including the ones above. They are not bad by any means but they are also not what I was hoping for. Petoskey stones are super common here but grade "A" patterns and colors are a bit more rare.

I am looking for stones to produce cabs like these.

Man Chuck you do such a nice job on those groove wraps. I've been practicing with your tutorial for the last couple weeks. I finally think I'm getting it right. I was using cheap wire to practice and I finally feel confident enough to order some nice wire. I would love to be able to wrap like that last Petoskey stone.
