I have had my HP 14" saw for almost 2 years now. I have wanted to move it into the basement rock shop for a long time. I can cut in the garage in the winter with no issue (except getting cold) but the summers in the garage are brutal and I was getting a lot of overheating of the oil if I cut too long or too many. I finally got off my Butt and reorganized the basement shop and moved the saw down there today (with my wonderful wife's help). I'm going to "encase" the area with some heavy weight plastic to keep the oil mess to a minimum and move the tile saws in there as well. I have a lot more work to do the frame in the partition and hang the plastic, but at least the grunt work is done.

Fantastic! Very interested in what you figure out. It seems like there's always a little misting in mine no matter what I do but might just be my saw.

Nice. Hope it works out well for you. Here in AZ starting about May the uncooled shop with the saws is pretty much off limits, I should probably move them to the back room, insulate it, and set up a swamp cooler for it. In my spare time...
