This week past will be notable in the history of meteorites: First,,on February 13th, a detected and tracked asteroid (only the 7th time) was predicted to enter the Earth’s atmosphere over the English Channel, and in fact it did exactly that! The fireball was recorded by video from numerous locales in Europe. The meteorite fell/impacted in France. Second, on February 14th, a Valentines Day fireball and corresponding meteor fell to Earth in Southern Italy. Third, on February 15 (the 10th anniversary of the Chelyabinsk Russia asteroid explosion) a fireball was seen and corresponding meteor fell to Earth in southern Texas. This remarkable 3 days (nights) is the first time the world has had fireballs 3 nights in a row, with each of them resulting in recovered stones on the ground. Perhaps 1 or more will end up being classified very similar or identical to the Chelyabinsk rocks, indicating some sort of trail of debris/stones the Earth passes through on this date? I have a couple of small examples of the Chelyabinsk meteorite, and I can tell you that I am quite curious as to whether or not any of these new stones will be a match for what was recovered in Russia 10 years ago, of course we’ll have to wait for the official classifications of these 3 meteorites to emerge. If you don’t remember exactly: Chelyabinsk is the meteor that was caught on all sorts of video cameras including a lot of dash-cams, the shock wave of the explosion damaged a lot of buildings in Russia and injured several thousand people, most who rushed to windows to see what the bright flash was just before the shock wave hit (learn that lesson! Don’t run to the window to see what just happened if you’re caught in a similar event!) www.imo.net/3-fireballs-3-meteorites-in-a-row/?fbclid=IwAR0mvtPvFyljJl2zvWuJhSZ1H6fFz65YtLVP9ZPV4EkRhmiNeKRzWXapL0g

Oh...I'm sure they are not all "looking up", some are looking at each other and some are looking out into the vast cosmos.....and some are even looking at us.....!....and many are just watching the global hot spots of conflict and deployment. Come to think of it......some aren't looking at all.....just listening and decoding.

It's curious that these impacts have roughly coincided with a number of significant earthquakes. Not implying a cause/effect relationship, just something that I noticed.

I knew meteors were dense but I have a hard time wrapping my head around the fact that something Corgi size could weigh 1/2 ton. It is an odd way that they put it. I saw someone post a rock on FB the other day for an ID and they said "It's about the size of a 12 inch pizza." Of course, my response was "how big is a 12 inch pizza?"
