GORGEOUS! One of my favorites to look at, but not to tumble. These look so smooth - I always end up with the 'mossy pieces' that make little indents in my tumble, trapping grit/polish. Curious how you manage that? Am I working with less than good quality perhaps? I can see the same on some of yours, but they look so nice and smooth. Thanks for sharing!

Yeah, so several pieces had these very spongey sections. For the most part though, I was able to grind it away in coarse. Some of them I just photographed so you can't see it very well. The only one I couldn't do that with is the bigger one in the 3rd to last picture. The spongy area wrapped around the whole way and was right in the middle. I used to not take before pictures of the rough, but I've started doing that now, but that means I don't have a picture of these before I tumbled them. The rough came from The Rock Shed. Most of them smoothed out very nicely but did take a while in coarse.

Just started some from the Rock Shed as well. Material is better quality than I have seen in a while. It is shaping up nicely and seems good and solid (for the most part).

Will keep on keepin' on and applying what I learn in the process
