Porcelain (or Sci-Fi, or Exotica) Jasper from Mexico. Those are the only three "aliases" I know.
That slab looks like it polished better than some of that material does.

That's a really nice chunk of Sci-Fi Jasper...that's the name I like the best! LOL - Once again, you got a great polish on these Alex!
I noticed the same thing you did with the material...the way certain areas polish far better than the others. The white areas (for me) definitely polished to a "porcelain jasper" shine! I have some pieces left...and now knowing which areas polish better than others, it'll make the usable areas on those pieces a lot less!! LOL

These cabs look nice!
The Porcelain Jaspers I use for tumbling sometimes have very brittle white areas close to the black veins, and some black veins undercut during the pre-polish.
