Over the years I have collected a lot of Montana agates and a lot of them have been the common honey agates with little to no inclusions.
I have a lot of these sorted out and a lot of other MT agates sorted out that I just will never fool with. I pulled all of the ones out that will be awesome and many that have high potential. Most of the rest are either boxed up or in buckets waiting to be boxed up to be sold off.
What I need from you is what you think I should price these at. There will be two main types, mostly smaller honey agates, and straight run semi sorted agates with the normal inclusions.

I won't give you a price, just because I have NO idea what kind of time and effort you have put into them. I will say FLat rates would be best. Also I am seriously interested in a box full so DON'T SKIP ME lol. I would be interested in a half a box of each!

I think if you have enough material then the flat rate boxes are a great idea. It makes shipping costs actually fairly reasonable given the weight of rocks. The first time I saw someone filling flat rate boxes for their rough listings I thought it was genius. The first time one came in the mail I lifted it off the porch and audibly groaned. I then imagined the mail carrier doing the same and thinking “geez, what’s is in here, rocks?” And then him looking at the return address label and realizing it actually WAS rocks. The thought just cracked me up. 🤣🤣🤣 That was a medium flat rate but there is even the small ones which are great for lesser quantity and more cost effective overall for the buyer. I actually wish more sellers did the small flat rates for this reason.
As for pricing for the material, I’d do online searches and see if any is available for sale or has already sold. Compare quality to what you have and set your price. On eBay you can see sold items and the price they sold for. Once you type your item in the search description, there is a tiny little “advanced” button at the upper right of the webpage that opens a larger menu. I usually check “sold” and also located only in the US to get my sold comparison info. I also look at listings with the sold option not checked to see what’s currently available. These two searches give a good idea both of demand and pricing. I also will try a variety of search terms as not everyone uses exactly the same names.

If you have enough the flat rate is definitely the way to go, personally I like to add some cardboard so the bottom and edges to reinforce a little if it will be packed. I would separate the honey agate and mostly clear or fractured tumbler stone from the nice mossy cabbing material. A video would help, there is a huge price range in this stuff.

It really depends, are you just looking to get rid of them and make a lil cash or are you getting rid of them because you NEED cash? If your just looking to get rid of them to free up space and not that you really need cash, I would go with the advice given and go 0.75 to 1.00 per lb. If you are really in need of cash and its a matter of Need to sell instead of want to sell, I would go 2.00 to 3.00 a lb.

I think I am going to go to the middle ground and go with $1 per pound. Now I just have to get the videos uploaded and put up an ad in the places in the sites I will offer them on.
