This Duracraft Jewelry Buffer measures approximately 24.5" long by 15" deep by 16" tall and weighs 38lbs. It has an injection molded plastic housing which makes it lighter weight than most metal housed buffers of a similar size. This lighter weight makes this machine an especially good machine for anyone who is tight on shop space and needs to move machines around the shop in order to have the space to perform different functions. Or for someone who does silversmithing demonstrations or offers jewelry buffing services at the shows and has to load and unload their equipment frequently. These buffers are also often used with a muslin buff and ZAM for polishing Turquoise cabochons.
This Duracraft buffer has a pull "On"/push "Off" power switch, has two built in exhaust fans and an aluminum shrouded two bulb lamp (standard household type bulbs) all of which work properly. This buffer uses two 14" x 6" sheets of air conditioner filter material (not included) that can be purchased in larger sheets from Home Improvement stores and then cut to fit.
In addition to the two used buffing wheels shown mounted on the tapered spindles of this machine, also included are one each unused new-old-stock Grobet 6" dia. x 30ply cotton flannel buffing wheel Grobet # 17.207, a Grobet 4" dia. x 30 ply cotton flannel buffing wheel Grobet # 17.205, a Dixel/Grobet 3" dia. x 3 row wood hub bristle brush Grobet #16.390, and a felt Ring Combination Buff.
