The actual jadeite cab that led me to that site was one not listed in their current inventory.
A 25mm long oval with a 12.5mm dome height, I’ve seen the size listed as the golden ratio for imperial green jadeite. Apparently a low dome on the back of nearly transparent jadeite also helps to bring out the optimal color quality.
Translucent to opaque stone like what I cut doesn’t benefit from the low dome back, I was just practicing for that piece of imperial green I wish I had! LOL
Yep, that white one is jadeite, it’s also know for having a nice opalescent glow. Hard to photo because of that, but it’s a white base with half the stone having a lavender tint and the other half a mint green.
