that blue is some of the dumerite i slabbed for ploishing on the vibe lap im gonna see if i can sell a few polished slabs in the shop----- people have asked and i didnt have a way to do a whole slab

Nice coral sands. Love the fan patterns in that one piece! Is it all as agatized as the one you cut? I just got a box of new Savannah River agatized coral in a trade today. I'll try to post a pic tomorrow. This lot has some jet black and nice varied colors....mel

mel some of it dont feel as heavy as the rest so im thinkin its gonna be soft or not all agatized if i can get the dam saw workin right ill give them a try and see ---hey cant go wrong for free hahaha

Sands: Nope, free is a great price! The lighter material may just be calcified or have a lot of voids. I find my saw gets real cranky when cutting fossil agates too. Friggin agatized palm root will really bring my saw to a screeching halt sometimes and I suspect agatized coral will do the same. Don't know why but that stuff is just tough to cut!....mel

rofl sands, i was cocking my head sideways trying to figure out what the pink and red rocks was - it's a sack lol. took me awhile to figure it out. i wanted some of that sack rock lol.
great coral pieces. my rockbed loves coral! how did you know which one was agatized?
