Hello. Although I have read many posts on the forum, I finally signed up. Been tumbling for 15 or so years. Stones, rocks, glass and brass with my Lortone 33B. Not really that knowledgeable on the rocks, but love the process of collecting thru the polish stage. And then mostly gifting the finished work. Am seriously considering getting a vibrating tumbler and will use this site to learn on what to get. A lot of what I have been looking for seems to be out of stock which gives me some additional research time.

Welcome to the forum from South Dakota! Although a lot of websites show they are out of stock, several of them will allow you to "pre-order" them...and then you can get them as soon as they're in stock...or they'll have it drop shipped from the manufacturer. I know The Rock Shed has done this for quite a few people...

Welcome from north central New York. We like pictures.
Both the Rock Shed and Kingsley North allow you to "subscribe" for a notification whan a particular item is back in stock.
Be ready to pull the trigger when the back in stock email arrives. The items will be "out of stock" within days, sometimes hours. I was notified of Lot O barrels were back in stock at 2:30 pm. I tried to order at 5pm but was to late.

Welcome from the Puget Sound area.
Are you perchance a Narnia fan?

Yes on Narnia. Not sure if the name or picture gave it away. Impressed.

Thanks for all the greetings. There is so much information on this forum. I have learned much already and have found many of my questions answered by just reading a few of the postings. Thanks to all.

Thanks to all. Don't stop now! I've been here for ten years and still have much to learn . . . Like when to tuck my knees when tumbling.
