Thanks! My camera want to focus on what is in the reflection of my polished obsidian rather than the obsidian itself. I guess that is an indicator of a good polish.

I always take pics with my phone...and focusing on the reflection is exactly what happens to me. Sometimes I have to take 20+ pictures...and then "settle" for the best crappy pic! LOL
