A co-worker (son of owners) home schools his children. He has a girl, 10 and a boy, 7.
He is always looking for fun things to do lessons from.
I put together a box of fossils for him to use.
When the weather is nice, most lessons are outside. He often combines several subjects into one trip.
He also has his children do supervised internet research about the subject.
Here is what I am giving him.
Note, the fossil soup label is just until I can get some ID’s. These slabs are about 5” long.
I included the lava bomb because it is local and his son is obsessed with volcanoes.
