I am giving these to a co-worker who home schools. If anyone could help with ID's for the critters/plants contained I would appreciate it. 1. More slabs of the same. At first I thought stromatolite, but am unsure. 2. I see some shells, plants and crinoid pieces. Anything more specific? Thank you

I can't help, but were these found in WI? I "found" them in Wisconsin at the local Gem/Mineral Society rock swap. The sellers had no idea where they came from. I purchased 2 boxes of slabs. One of the first and one of the second. The boxes were priced at 3 boxes for $20.00. They were beer case sized boxes, 2-3 layers full. I think I ended up with about 35 slabs/chunks.
