Welcome to RTH from Virginia.
Glad to see the pictures of your lovely tumble!
Thank you for speaking so well of your wife. Nothing makes me happier than hearing about a successful relationship. May your bond continue to be strong. Thank you! I appreciate the kind words very much.

Welcome from Missouri. The Cloudinary works well for photos. I had some issues with videos when I started and I need to try that again to see if I can get it to work now. It wasn’t easy to figure out, even for my techie wife. Even after we filled out all the information and the little Cloudinary button thing appeared below my quotes, we still couldn’t get it to work. But then I noticed the Cloudinary tutorial link that was beneath the button. We clicked on it and she got it working within a minute after that. I still don’t understand what she did, but something in that tutorial filled in the missing pieces she needed.

Looks like you are well on your way! Thank you! For some reason, I absolutely love petrified wood above all other rocks. I have around 50 pounds of it that we’ve collected so far. About 6 pounds of that fits in my 3 pound barrels so I’ve been working on them for months. Some of them look so much like real wood but all I do is clean them up. Others I cut little mini slabs from that I use for jewelry making. Like these…ugh, where did my Cloudinary button go? Maybe I can’t attach a picture when I respond to a quote? Let me go try again.

I agree about pet wood - it's very unique and the fact that it used to not be a rock is pretty fascinating. To think you are holding something in your hand that's been around for SO long!! I don't think you can post images when responding to a quote - I don't have a button here either. If you do a new (non-quoted) post then you should see it again.

Petrified wood? I can’t tell if the pics attached. It all seemed to reset itself over night…

If you can reset and start over, I recommend trying this link. It's easier. If you haven't tried it, that is.

Ok, I think we got posting pictures down. At least for now. Some how my settings reset over night. These are the petrified wood mini slabs I like to cut and polish. There are some agate/quartz/chalcedony types also.
