It took long enough. I think I started this over a year ago. It kept breaking apart no matter how much cushion I had in it. If you zoom in you'll see it was worth the wait.

Nice! I just picked up a load a couple days ago. Sounds like I will need to be patient with it when I run it.

Kelly, your Leland Blue looks so different than what I find.
Must be a different material or process they were using, kinda cool

Must be a different material or process they were using, kinda cool Chad I bought this from a girl in Kalkaska, that'sprobablywhy it looks different. She said it is all along the rail tracks from there to cadillac. It started out as huge chunks and just kept breaking apart. I want to look for some beach worn but from the posts I am seeing on FB Michigan Rockshounds there may not be any left when I get home again.

I remember seeing similar slag along the railroad lines in Petoskey when I was a kid. Railroads are long gone but you can still see some slag on the beaches (mostly darker green and brownish black). Next time I am there I will have to look for some and see how it polishes. Thanks for the post.

I contacted her just the other day and she said as soon as the snow goes away she will be going back out for a new batch
