I have been working a lot of my off Fridays (we work 9 hour days and have every other Friday off) to bank some OT, but it is time for a break (yea the nice weather helps a lot). I pulled a batch out of the MT-4 this morning before taking the Jeep in for service. First up is the entire batch. Lots of Pet wood in this one. The pet woods, most of it is AZ wood but a few chunks of Australian and Pacific North west Bahia Agates. I got to order more of these, they are just so much fun to work. Burro Creek Agate, Not much of this remaining in the tumbler. Desert Jasper, This stuff is amazing! If you have room in a box from the Rock Shed, I highly recommend this stuff! Odds and ends and unknowns, Some Mozambique agate, a chunk of driveway chert, a small piece of Montana agate, SD Prairie agate Finally some very nice LSA. I love how these turned out as well. Such great banding!

Very nice! I love Bahia Agates! Along with a lot of the other rock that comes out of Brazil, of course. The Bahia Agates seem to be very hard (Mohs) and can take quite a while in stage 1 (at least for the obsessive types like me).
