I have a few small Bruneau nodules. They’re a pain in the neck to saw. They are difficult to clamp well and they are as tough to saw as anything I’ve sawed. Every time I pein the saw blade, that’s the first thing I cut, hence the saw marks. They might have some kitty litter on them too. Here are a few slabs I got the other day.

There are some grade A+++ slabs in there Thanks. Sometimes I get lucky. An awful lot are kind of blah. All I have are small pieces. I got ahold of these three with the Slab Grabber.

You guys ever seen the green bruneau? I have a couple baseball size pieces And one small slab. Only stuff I’ve ever seen, makes me wonder if it’s technically considered the black? Or was green a common color?

Or was green a common color? I have some green and some black. Neither were common. I want to say the black was more rare, but I'm not positive on that.

I had just recently found out about the green when I came across it in my collection here not too long ago

Or was green a common color? I’ve seen green but I’m not sure on black. It’s all expensive. I bought a bunch of small nodules in Quartzite in the 80s. I think it was still being mined in those days.

Nice slabs! I've got some bruneau and it's about as hard as jasper gets. Really makes the saw ring.
