Wow, thanks a lot for the detailed info!! It's super helpful! The more I hear about Burro creek, the more I want to plan a trip there lol. Yes I'd love to see the picture of that rock if you run across it! You are very welcome. A lot of people go out there to rockhound but there is a lot of material to be found including some purple agate that has yet to be "discovered". Don't let anyone tell you there isn't any more of the purple to be found there. It is true that the Bagdad mine has fenced off and covered over the original 'cave' where the original purple agate came out but that was just one spot of many. I've even been told that the material I picked up myself in that area wasn't from Burro Creek and that was from older rockhounds who had collected there "back in the day". If you do ever get to go there it's a real treat. If I'm around then please do send me a message so I can give you some pointers. Still looking for that piece but it may be a while and of course there's always the possibility that my boyfriend cut that piece up without my knowing. Excellent! Thanks so much for the great info, it's really appreciated! Yes, I'll definitely send you a message if we plan a trip out there. Thanks!

For your viewing pleasure. All of these slabs are from material collected in the Burro Creek Arizona area by me and a few close friends.
