My thumler ar-12 stopped. The motor was very hot. I started it when I got it the other day but hadn’t read the direction and did not oil anything. After it stopped I unplugged it and let it cool off. While it was off I read about oiling and oiled the bearings, rollers and the motor per instructions online. I plugged it in and it didn’t start tumbling until I gave it a little push start. It’s been running since then.
Another issue is that the drum walks to the right. I watched it tumble and noticed that the top of the rubber drum has a bend in it. You can see it’s not tumbling evenly. I took a short video of it. If anyone can show me how to post it you can see what I mean. Thanks

Thanks I don't know about posting videos via cloudinary but I've read from others it can be hit or miss. I've had a few issues my AR12 and I think I was overloading it to the point where it wouldn't run. I would try lightening the load a little and see if that helps. I came up with a an idea to buffer some of the side play with a little caster bearing that I smacked on so it would alleviate the play to the edge and still run...maybe you can brainstorm something similar

The folks at Rocktumbler.com where I purchased the A-R12 referred me to Thumler. I received a reply the same day from Al Thumler. He looked at my video and believed the drum to be defective. He is sending me a replacement. With customer service like this it makes me want to buy Thumler products in the future and let everyone know about their outstanding customer service.
