Great stuff! I would say fluorite - it looks too pinky-purple to be amethyst

for a second I thought that was your kitchen sink, and I was thinking OMG, she's gonna scratch up her sink. Then I looked again and realized it was a littler box is that clear quartz I see? Those are big! I've always known quartz to be clear when they are small.... the small they are the clearer they are What a great box to receive! You're gonna have oodles of fun with those

Stoner, how can you tell the diff from rubies to garnet? there were many tiny pieces of what i believe are garnet....they will make good grit filler.

RUTILATED!!! i was so astonished when i cut this open, i ran upstairs to show the hubster...who was singularly unimpressed...wait til i show him the finished product!
my best girlfriend stopped over tonight to pick up her fish bowl and was showing her some slabettes i'd cut up from this batch, apparently she didn't see me licking them to show her, and was horrified that she was touching my "spit". HAHAHAA.
she has ALWAYS known i'm krazy, this just reinforced it.
