Hi Im new all aspects of trimming/slabbing.
Does anyone know the max size of rock this 8” saw attachment can handle? Or is there a way to calculate it knowing the blade’s characteristics?
As I have only a small cellar to setup in I am considering buying this. Any experience with such a setup would also be appreciated.
cheers all 😉

You will probably be able to cut 3" thick rock, you will lose two inches for the arbor washers. I'm not familiar with that particular saw but on any saw you subtract the diameter of the washers from the diameter of the blade and you have approximately how thick you can cut. I should think Cab King would have the spec listed for cutting thickness.

I have a Genie attachment with an 8" blade and the hood gets in the way of cutting rocks. Yours would work like a tile saw; push through or rotate the rock to the blade. Slabbing rocks with a trim saw wears out blades faster than just trimming. My saw uses a water additive. I don't know about Cab King.
