Here's some mixed materials. I finished off the cab machine in the last couple of days. Have a couple more crazy lace I'm going to try and fix but had cracks open up on them. The obsidian looks really good in the light. I think it's triflow with gold sheen. I slabbed it the other way from what I usually see. These first two are for bolo ties.

Very nice! How do you like your new machine? And what were you using before? Seems you always made really nice cabs but I hope the new machine and shop space feels like a nice improvement.

Thanks for all the positive comments. I absolutely love the new machine. I've been using a vintage one that I've bought thats setup kind of weird and I never got around to changing things out. I'll post some pictures of it later. Really needs to have wheels swapped around in different spots and it could be a great machine. Right now. There's a huge space between the two hard wheels and then there's three soft wheels crammed on one side. The water feed is jinky and I have to play with things on it all the time. It's actually made for 8-in wheels so they'll wheels are so far back underneath the top that it's hard to see anything and I'm always working on the bottom of the wheels. I was set up outside and it gets well over 100° here! I'm really enjoying the garage with the AC. We've had some reprieve this year from the weather and it's been unusually cool. This weekend is supposed to be 108 on Saturday and Sunday!

Great results Gary. Nice polish on the sheen obsidian. That stuff is so chippy and hard to polish it always frustrates me. Glad to hear the new machine is working out.

That obsidian cab is badass! I love the depth in it. Well done!
