Can I put a request in to move the yellow text for instructions on cloudinary next the cloudinary upload button to the right instead of underneath? I fat finger it every other time... This one on mobile  |

Can I put a request in to move the yellow text for instructions on cloudinary next the cloudinary upload button to the right instead of underneath? I fat finger it every other time... This one on mobile Chad with my very limited coding skills I'm not able to get it to line up on the same line as the buttons - it automatically drops below. However I was able to increase the top padding and put more space between it and the button so hopefully this will help.  |

Today I tried to do the cloudinary thing, total failure. I printed out the tutorial and got as far as signing up for cloudinary but when I got to step 9 I cannot find any gear icon or settings menu in cloudinary. I know I am not the most computer knowledgeable person but this is crazy hard to follow. I also didn't see any cloudinary name or preset assigned to me when I registered with cloudinary. Maybe I'll try again but going into cloudinary three times and not finding what is in the tutorial is super frustrating. Sometimes a jewelry design is frustrating enough, surely I don't need more.

Thanks! I went back and found the settings "gear" on the lower left rather than the upper right, got as far as step 11. I don't understand #13 and I can't find "incoming transactions". Gonna give it up for the day, making me nuts. Tommy explained why we have to use this antiquated system, but it is sooo twentieth century! Part of the problem is I don't even know what "tag" is, not something I see on any of the other five forums I am a member of. I have no idea what a "preset" is or half the other stuff on that antiquated cloudinary site. I like making cabs and making jewelry, cannot stand jumping through hoops to simply post a photo.

I think I kinda lucked out when I set my Cloudinary account up...I guessed on a couple of the things...and apparently guessed right because it works for me. However, I DO understand your frustrations. There's a couple other options. Having a Flickr or Imagr account works...then you just have to figure out how to link the pic over to this forum... Personally, even though I have a Cloudinary account, I rarely use it. Because I take all my pictures with my phone, I use the Tapatalk app. It gives a person access to pretty much most forums...they have a free version...and it's super easy to post pics. The free version has a limited amount of pics you can post per month - it is quite a few though. I bought the "lifetime" membership, so I have unlimited pics I can post. |

Oh...if you want to "tag" someone. It's easy. Just hover your cursor (on a PC) over the person's screen name. That will show you what the person's actual user name is. Most of the time, it's the same as the screen name. Once you figure out the person's actual user name (again usually the same as their screen name), you can "tag" a person by putting a @ symbol in front of their name. If you want to tag you, I put a @ in front of gunsil...like this gunsil. When you post your reply, the @ will disappear and their name will turn yellow. That way you know you tagged them. |
