Really nice. Were they very rough prior to rolling? If so do you prep them or just roll stage 1 til they're rounded? Those shaped up great regardless.

Nice! I really like Mexican crazy lace - it's just fascinating to me. I have some from the rockshed too. I've got some going, but it's got some imperfections I may need to grind/cut out. We'll see. Thanks for sharing!

Some great looking tumbles there! I'm also a huge fan of Mexican Lace. So beautiful and so much variety. If I could only pick one stone to work on that would probably be it!

Dillon dillonfThose turned out great! I bet you were excited when you opened the barrel and dried off a few nodules. I like their shaping. It shows a lot of patience on your part. The polish is top notch as well. Thanks for showing.

I didn't do any prep with a saw, flat lap, or chisel. I just kept them in the rough grind until they were rounded. You can see I did move some on before they were totally smoothed out - the red one in the video above has some druzy pockets, but it still shined up well. Several bits did have some deep fractures. I bet I had them in rough grind for ~4-5 months. I started with 6lbs and used a QT6 for rough grinding fitting in about ~5lbs to start and adding more as the material ground down. Most of the small size rough I bought ground down to nothing. I did do 2 rounds of 220 grit as well, and they spent 2 weeks in the polish stage.

I was very proud of this batch! Thanks for looking! And thanks for the kind words!

Those look fantastic! Beautiful shine on them. I just got some MLA from the Rock Shed today. I did a cleanout and added a couple to the barrel. Hope mine turn out half as nicely as yours.

Very nice bud! I just got some from Kingsley north. It looks different from the ones I’d gotten from the rock shed 6 months back. I can’t wait to get it rolling!
