Here’s the rough preform:

And here is the mostly finished results thus far:

The pyrite inclusions are all the way through so nothing I can do about that.
Any suggestions on a final polish or will cerium do the trick?

I'd use Zam (dry) on a soft cotton buff. Use a soft touch.

Cerium is going to get into the pits and be a bear to get out.

That’s what I figured with the cerium & that’s why I stopped where I did. I appreciate your input!
