All really nice cabs, but there's something really special about the design on the Owyhee jasper. That on just jumps out at me! Nice job.

Bottom center in last pic. That’s very nice. 👍🤩👍 Is that the Owyhee?

Beautiful cabs! Very nicely done. I agree with jasoninsd -- the gem silica does look the same color as Needles Blue.

A nice bunch & a productive week. I'm particular to the Biggs jasper. A nice shape, with an interesting pattern, and a great polish.

Bottom center in last pic. That’s very nice. 👍🤩👍 Is that the Owyhee? Thanks khara, It is Owyhee, very different from any I have ever seen or bought. I bought it from a wholesale dealer who deals in huge quantities of rocks especially agates from around the world. I went to his warehouse or storage facility and stumbled upon a random 5 gallon bucket with a few pieces of Owyhee in it, about 5 pounds at $15 a pound. I admit that this one piece was the best out of all of them and some were just plain yellow and brown with no patterns at all, not worth cabbing. That would make this a $75 cab. I guess that's the way rocks go.

Thanks Patty, I sure would like to be doing a lot more cabbing, but I've been really busy with rock club and other projects. Biggs is always one of my favorites.

Thanks Robin, so I came upon this rock that looked verisimilar to Jason's Needles Blue in every way. It had Needles Blue written on it in very small letters, so I'm almost positive that it is. I didn't know what Needles Blue was or how much it is being sold for until after I cut and ground away the matrix to arrive at this final gem. Now I feel like a numismatic that tried polishing a rare mint condition Morgan silver dollar.

Thanks Jason, I am pretty sure that it is Needles Blue. It was written on it in very small letters barely readable and I said to myself, I need to research this, and I did, after I cut it, damn. It looked a lot like yours. I got new templates so trying different shapes. I would like to thank rockjunquie and liveoak , Patty for the idea of putting templates in a binder, so organized.

Those cabs are so cool. The Owyhee cab is pretty unique. I haven’t seen that much white in Owyhee before. I hope the other three Owyhee preforms are still on the dop waiting to be finished. Great work. Thanks for showing.

What a nice looking set!! The poppy reminds me of Hornitos Poppy Jasper.
You know what? I like them ALL. I'm not picky! Great work.
