Turkish stick is pretty cool. I’ve eyed quite a bit of that myself. I have one slab of it, saving it for a rainy day.

Wow! Those look like they'll be spectacular. I've been seeing quite a bit for sale but not rough like that, just slabs.

Man, you really had to go and post about turkish stick agate, didnt you?? I picked up a pretty decent sized chunk of rough about a month ago and I already slabbed it, but I have yet to make a cab out of it.
Now I feel ashamed I havent done that and Im gonna have to get to work on it soon.
I have a feeling youll be posting pics of finished pieces way before I get to mine here though since I always seem to have way too many projects going.

I've bought a few slabs and made a few cabs. The material you bought is superior to what I've seen for sale.
Not knowing what you paid, I expect you could get a great return on the slabs.

I probably won't have any idea on my ROI until I cut some slabs from these and find out what's there or what's not. The other day I was talking with a member of the forum who recently picked up a nice sized chunk of material from a seller in Turkey. He was more than pleased with his purchase...so I thought what the heck! LOL This last week I worked some Turkish Stick Agate I had gotten from a different member...who I will tag when I post pics of the cab in a day or two. However, it was because of that cab that I just HAD to get some more! LOL - So, I placed an order for the following pieces. These are the sellers pics...and we'll see if they match once I get the material! I think they will...the seller had a video along with the pics, and everything matched. Turkish Stick Agate...and "others"... Cool stuff! Can't wait to see what you do with it! Thanks Dillon!! Not gonna lie...I'm DYIN' for this to show up FedEx!! LOL |
