That’s a beauty christopherl1234Is it a standard dome or do you dish the top to follow the fire? So usually my tops are carved some to get closer to the fire or to follow a particular fire layer. That being said I do like to dome the tops when I can especially if I get a good blending of colors to add interest to the stone. Most of the time, but not all the time, I think a single color is uninteresting. I like stones with multiple colors and domeing a stone sometimes helps that happen. I hope that helps This stone has an even dome

I always wondered what the fuss was about fire agate and now I know. Holy cats, that's gorgeous. Looks like what I imagine dragon scales would look like.

Fine work!! Every time I try making fire agate cabs it seems I end up grinding away the "fire" before the cab is finished!!

Nice "Crackle" stone Christopher. Slaughter seems to produce most of that pattern, based on what I've seen. Good image too. It's difficult to photograph, at least it is for me.
