The other night I sat down to do a wire wrap for a member...and I discovered something was jacked with the doublet. So...I couldn't wrap it. I decided to finish this one that's been sitting on my table half done for the last two or three months! I don't usually post just one wrap...but it's the only one I've done since I started back to work! Really pretty. You got so many great cabs from that one rock. I always wonder how best to cut into banded agates. I have a tendency to want to keep all the bands intact, which I know just isn’t realistic (unless I’m looking to make a belt buckle) so deciding where to cut through them is tough for me.

Wow! I am not usually a fan of the open pockets in cabs but that one is spectacular!

It's really difficult sometimes for me to pick out a certain spot...so sometimes I have "display" cabs because they're so big! LOL Beautiful! The addition of the beads is perfect! Thanks Tela! When I first started making cabs, I stayed away from druzy pockets...I didn't want to deal with them when doming a cab.
