Looking for suggestions and advice.
I have some Noble serpentine from NE Washington State. I would like to tumble some of it. I spent time collecting pieces that weren’t too brittle, soft or fiberouse. Best I could anyway. I’ve a rotary and mini sonic vibe.
Thanks in advance.

I recently heard of this type serpentine and am very curious about it…

The 2008 thread seems a tad out of date. But thanks for the link.
I’ll post pics when we get home.

Serpentine is a favorite. Our state rock. Never heard of it called NOBLE before.

I have over 35# of varying sizes. Top is wet Hey wedger! Those are really beautiful! I saw that you can get this from Wild Turkey Mine in Washington State. Is that where this comes from?

Yes, it came from Wild Turkey Mine northeast of Spokane. It was the last day they were open for public digging this year. It’s an amazing place.

Finally finished some of the serpentine. I kept getting distracted. One of the pieces cracked in the final polish. I think they are not, therefore, as shiny as they would have been.

Nice batch. It looks like you have all the different colors. I have some also and would like to get to tumbling it soon. Thanks for sharing.

I talked to the owners of the claim a few years ago in Quartzsite about their tumbling recipe. I remember him saying he runs it with pieces of leather, I’m assuming in the polish stages. I don’t remember much else he stated about it but remember coming to the conclusion it would be a tough one to tumble properly.
