All, I highly recommend two things for everyone using Cloudinary here on the forum in regards to extending the life of your free account. 1. Don't use it for videos. When you post a video on the forum it potentially will be played thousands(?) of times and this puts a huge hit on your "free" bandwidth. 2. Make good use of Cloudinary's "Incoming Transformations" feature. This feature automatically reduces your uploaded photos down to the size you specify. You can upload massive photos to them and they are automatically transformed down to your preference for displaying on the internet - thus saving both storage space AND viewing bandwidth. For instance, I have the "new-member" free account set as follows with an incoming transformation width of 600 pixels using "scale" which means it will automatically determine the photo height. I haven't figured out how to manage the RTH new-member account to disallow videos but I wish I could. For now that has to be self-policed. Thank you, Tommy! I will go through and adjust my options in Cloudinary. Much appreciated!

Test photo (Llanite) ok it failed so deleting… now testing again after my wife figured out in 3 min what I’ve been working on for hours. Dang it. She broke it lol. Can’t upload now. Let’s let her try again…okay, maybe now? Nope, it won’t adjust the photo size, still full size. Hmmm…

Hey Tommy, I got my wife to help me and she was able to pull up the screen and make adjustments but on your screen, the picture you show, there is an OK button on the bottom right to save. That doesn’t come up on mine. I’m wondering if because I am doing this on the cell phone it’s not gonna work. Do I need to find a desk top to make these adjustments? Thank you! Doug

It is monthly. I always use a photo resizer to shrink my photos down from 2+ meg. I use FastStone Photo Resizer. It's free and it works a treat.
I also use FastStone Photo Resizer for posting photos. Highly recommended!
I checked out my Cloudinary account and rediscovered the dizzying array of functionality. My stats are well within the limits, but I decided to lower my image quality setting to 70%.
