  Crazy Lace agate top and side - this is cab #3   Coprolite - jasoninsd - 5th cab on the machine. Love how this turned out.  CLA - side view this is the 2nd cab done on the machine  Tiger Eye - I'm usually pretty 'meh' about tiger eye, but really enjoyed working with this material and like how it turned out. Cab #4  Here's a group shot of the cabs made so far on the CK. The piece to the right of the tiger eye is ohio flint. Wanted to try polishing a semi-tumbled  jasoninsd - this is one of the slabs you labled 'sd' Really beautiful. I did not complete the CLA this weekend - that was the weekend before. Noticing that I'm spending a lot of time on the 220 soft - this wheel is a godsend, but I've got to figure out how to bring less scratches to it. I'm hoping the fact that my hard wheels are so new that it's contributing to the number and deepness of the scratches...trying to be as soft a touch as I can, but it's hard sometimes. All in all, I'm really pleased with how these turned out. Still seeing some edging around the girdle line that I need to smooth out better, but that'll come with time  . |

Those are really great looking! Like the "sd" one. Thank you! I really like that too - I have another pic that doesn't show the shine as well, but the yellow/red really pops. Almost goldish... Cabs are looking really good. Thank you!! Its such a difference working on the wheels! Wow, very nice. Looks like a great weekend! Thank you! It was great! I was alone with just the pups all weekend so was very productive. I really like all of them. The coprolite and grey CL are my favs! Thanks!! I'm always partial to CL and was very pleasantly surprised how well the coprolite turned out- although it was quite the challenge on the 220 - took me a while to get scratches out, and I'm not convinced I got them all...it's my best ever dome though... Great job on those Peta!! That CLA is gorgeous! Great job on the poop cab! LOL That Prairie Agate (the "SD ROCK") turned out really great! They polish so amazingly well...and you nailed it! Thank you!! I wondered if the SD was praire agate - you are right, far cry from what I got from the RS - much more beautiful. Gorgeous color, almost gold. It was a challenge too - very hard material and wanted to hold onto the scratches. Busy weekend! You get so much more done on the wheels rather than the laps. Your cabs are beautiful, too. Well done! Yep, those are looking good.
And yep, after the 80 has broken in the scratches will get smaller. I used to do a lot with the 280, now I do a lot more on the hard wheels to remove flat spots and scratches.
