Out with: 2010 Subaru Forester Sport. It was a great car for a while. Now has 162,000 miles on it and having major problems. Needed about $4000 worth of repairs from a dealership over an hour away. In with: 2021 Nissan Rogue Sport. It is more car than I really needed, but AWD SUV’s are hard to find around here. It was a fleet vehicle. Low mileage. Great price. Some of the features: Fog lights, remote start, heated seats/steering wheel, driver assist, 360 camera, automatic dimming headlights, and lots of tech stuff. I am slowly learning about and how to use (or not use) all the features. Each day bring a new surprise. Yesterday I was backing out of a parking space and one of the screens said SONAR. What the heck is SONAR on a car? I still do not know how to open the back hatch. Do not know how to turn off some of the annoying features. I am averaging 32 MPG, which is great. So, looking forward to having cruise control again. Not having to use a battery charger/starter almost every time I start the car when temps are under 20 degrees. Having tires that hold air. A couple friends of mine have Rogues, so I can ask them questions about the car.
