Hello everyone, one neat thing about Tahoma agate is it starts looking surprisingly incredible the more you grind. The three here were not impressive at all to start, the last two I almost wasn't going to cab thinking they were less than mediocre, but I think they came out just fine.
This is a two sided cab, next two photos are of the same one. I can see now where I need to work on my rectangle, bottom right. This one is an amethyst sage, not too bad if you look past the healed fracture and monstrous quartz spot.
Three Morgan Hill Poppy Jaspers (MHPJ) Group photo thanks for looking

You're making me want to break out some of my MHPJ and Amy Sage slabs again! Great job on those!! I have yet to work Tahoma!

That's a great bunch of cabs! The Morgan Hills are exceptional.
And I've never seen Tahoma with an orby/poppy-ish pattern like that. Rare?

Cutting Tahoma with the seam I don't know how it will finish because I am grinding layers. When I hit a good layer it produces a beautiful cab with the frog skin look, otherwise not so much. I am still learning how to read the edges. Morgan Hill tells you what you are going get.

I didn't know if they were good quality or not. It is so unpredictable to work with and this is the first and only I've ever gotten. I didn't know it would be so fractured and fragile. That pattern in the Tahoma is not really rare, but you have to cut and grind it just right to find it and it isn't in all of it, just like what stardiamond says.
