Texas ‘Jasp-agate’.

We often use the term ‘Jasp-agate’ to describe rocks we find similar to below. Since quartz, chalcedony, agate, chert and Jasper are all varying forms of silica, it’s not uncommon to find them mixed up in interesting combinations. Here is one of my favorites that I’ve been working on all year. It’s a fairly standard chalcedony and Jasper mix which I find often. This one is just put together better then most.



Here is one that is very unique. It took quite some time and creative tumbling to get it how I like.
