First pic is from Hans Gamma world of jaspers (Rim Jasper/Batcave). Second is from my pile. I think I need to have a word with Mr. Gamma and tell him to stay the hell out of my Junk pile hahaha

Looks like a geological illustration of volcanic eruption.

Was out sorting again today. Here's the pile. Its bigger and deeper than the photo actually shows. So I've officially dug down to the back. I'm now in the process of sorting everything that I dont want to the back along the sheet metal. In that row there are pieces of material I dont want which contain, vistaite, nyedegger, Skaggs, various hard to get pet woods, various picture jaspers, Morrisonite, carasite, thundereggs, plume agates, etc.. Among stuff I did want I found this polished piece of woodward plume. and a chunk of carasite I can salvage.

Royal Eyes Cabenite Jasper. The rarest stuff no ones even heard of lol Is that matrix area similar in porosity to a Thunderegg? (In other words, is it soft like the brown area in a T-egg?)

Took rest of the day off (sick). But didn't stop me from playing with rocks. Washed up a bunch of stuff I had pulled out of the junk pile. I know there is still more in there. Here's approximately 8lbs of vistaite I pulled out. Slab, trimmer, and tumbling rough.

I decided to cut the big chunk. No nice blues, but good scenic patterns and Big slabs none the less. Also cut some wild Bruneau. I'm really digging this piece.

Scrape pile wow. You seem to have some great hidden gems in there lol. Sure curious what may be lurking in the good pile. All the pieces really look like they will produce some outstanding cabs hoping to see some. Thx for sharing. Ps hope you’re feeling better lol

I have a very large rock pile. There was a side yard paved with river rocks. I dug them all up to put in drainage and put them in a pile. I'm taking them for granite.

My office is located above an urgent care. I'm convinced we are being infected by all the sick people that come in down below. People seem to be constantly sick in our office.
