The two rocks on the right hand side are the typical looking Llanite that we find around here. The one on the left is confusing me. We found it in the Llano river area, but it looks so different from all the other Llanite we’ve found. The red part of the rock is very similar to red quartzite that we find. The blue sparkles are not as formed as normally found in Llanite, they are a bit more messy and not ‘crystal shaped’. I broke off a smallish chunk and threw it in the rebel 17. If it tumbles well, I’ll do this larger piece next. I’m just really curious as to what it is. I have not found anything else quite like it.

I don't think it is something I've come across yet. Looking forward to seeing it shined! Yup it’s definitely different. with all the rock hunting the kid and I do, this is the only one like this that we’ve found.

I was at the deposit recently and I have come to the conclusion that the stuff I had before is not indeed Llanite. It is, apparently que sera stone from Brazil.
