Here are a couple of Jason's jasoninsd agates that I slabbed and made into cabs. Thanks again Jason, these things are great. Will post some tumbled ones later. First photo is slab on stick and then the last two are the finished cab (indoor light and outdoor light). First photo shows the slabs that I got from a part of one of the larger agates. Second photo is the finished cab. Somewhere along the way I got a little wonky on the shape of this one. I think it came from the second slab up on the right of the first photo. Hope you enjoy, Chris

Those took a spectacular polish. Way to go Chris!! I seriously think Prairie Agates are underrated. They have so much variety to offer. **When a shape gets "wonky", just call it a "free-form"! LOL

Nice prairie agate! Maybe hit a soft spot on the second one. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks. Nice prairie agate! Maybe hit a soft spot on the second one. Thanks for sharing. Thanks. You could be right about the soft spot. It looked fine after 220 and I figured as hard as these things are, I didn't have to pay much attention to the shape after that. Will know better next time.

Really nice, chris1956 . What a beautiful pattern. Thanks. I have some tumbled ones that will probably post this weekend that have a lot of different patterns and colors. I look forward to seeing them! I’ve got one in Stage 1 right now that’s very close to moving on. It’s cleanout day, so I’ll know more soon. They’re a beautiful rock for sure.
