Attached is a slab from a rock I found on Lake Michigan in Petoskey. It has what looks like epidote, white quartz and small amounts of feldspar. Much more quartz than normal unakite and white rather than clear although I have seen white in unakite before. Much less feldspar than normal but I have also seen some unakite that has little or none. So would you call this unakite? I will post a pic after I get some polished.

That's a good question. I'm positive I have some material from your neck of the woods that is the spitting image of that...

As I've learned more and more about rock IDs, yeah...unakite seems pretty all over the map. I lean yes, but if someone slipped me $5, they could talk me out of it.
