I find the tumbling sound of 3lb barrels super relaxing. 12lb...not so much.

Our tumblers occupy a spare room here, adjoining the living room…my better half quite often falls asleep to the sound of the QTs and 33Bs rolling, says it puts her right out.

I am not concerned with their noises, but would rather not handle them vomiting in my bedroom...

I have 4 six lb tumblers a lot-o and a 10 lb vibe all within 6 feet of my comfy chair in my shop, many naps are induced by my tumblers.

I myself like quiet when I sleep. To me white noise is still noise and I don't sleep well in noisy situations. Bless those that can sleep with noise, sometimes I wish I could.

I used to require complete silence. But now I greatly prefer white noise.

No, my cabbing machine is very jealous so I would be in serious trouble if I slept with my tumbler..

My wife says she sleeps with a "Bumbler" every night...which according to her makes noises during the night which she finds more disturbing than relaxing! LOL

My tumblers are in the basement, right under my bedroom. They don't bother me, but I also sleep with a fan for white noise.

I keep mine in the basement but you can hear them clearly in the bedroom. We like the sound. They’re cleaned out and unplugged for a vacation right now. It sounds weird in the house without them rolling.

My tumblers are in my shed, about 60 feet from my home. The rotary tumblers are not audible until I am next to the shed, but the RayTech vibratory tumblers can be heard 20 feet away from the shed.

I have mine in the basement. I don't think I can hear them until we lose power. I wake up to the dead silence (Our house generator is on the fritz and has to be started manually). During the winter we have the pellet stove under our room and I hear the fans. If the stove shuts down I wake up right away because of the quiet. Every spring it takes me like 2 weeks to adjust to the lack of that fan noise.
