I am looking to purchase moss agate like this stuff that rockfrog has recently posted (see pics below). I've bought moss agate from a variety of vendors and none of it is this variety. If anyone has any to sell, or knows where I can get it please let me know. Cheers, Dillon.

Looks like it could be Indian moss agate. Should be easy enough to find.

Thanks for posting the link. It does say "India" moss agate...so rockjunquie nailed it!

Thanks rockjunquie jasoninsd rockfrogAll the India moss agate I've gotten is a white base rock with green formations - not that cool looking clear stuff with the fine green tendrils. I suppose I am just getting poor quality?

I suppose I am just getting poor quality? I might be wrong...but I think there's a difference between "India Green Moss Agate" and "India Green Tree Moss Agate". I believe the Tree Moss Agate is the one with the white base rock.

jasoninsd Yes, I've been internet browsing now and you are right - With the "tree" in there it's more of a white base stone.

I purchased the green moss/tree agate tumbling roughs from rockshed, and it seems to me almost half of them are clear with green. The clear with green pieces after polished are like this: The green mosses are where the undercuts and tiny fractures usually happen, and I could not completely get rid of the white polish residue out of the undercut sponge area.

Oh - That first one looks great. I can see in the second pic how they can be a bit tricky. They look really cool!
