I needed to get some 1000 grit AO but you know that shipping such a small package seems a waste so I added 10 lbs of rock. Labadorite Man this stuff is amazing. Almost every piece has at least a little flash. I loaded up a 3 Lb barrels right away!

Years ago Rock SHed used to have something called Blue Jasper. I have a little bit left for cutting, but have wanted to tumble some for a while now. Well I really liked the look of their Sardonyx and once it arrived it reminds me soo much of that Blue Jasper. This stuff is truly amazing

I can't tell if thats some Gneiss Schist, or that Schist is Gneiss. All I know is don't take it for Granite

I recently ordered some coarse grit from the rock shed and asked, if there was space left in the box, for some rough rock to be added and put on the invoice. They added a couple pounds of that sardonyx and it’s really beautiful! I have high hopes for it in the tumbler!

I was just looking at the Sardonyx at the Rock Shed a couple days ago. Even put it in my cart for ‘later’ lol, and I just came to the forum and searched for it, which is how I found this thread. The Rock Shed thanks you for the order about to be placed!

Edit: I bought 10 lbs of the sardonyx, and 3 of the Labradorite. (party)

Yup, I do that all the time. Needed replacement springs for the Lot-O, so I had to get 5lbs of sardonyx, 5lbs of fire quartz and 5lbs of desert jasper - just to round off shipping . . . Haha

I am really curious now... I don't know rockshed sells Blue Lace Agate rough though...
