I have been very slow to photograph rocks and share images lately. Some of these are from my batch of 'imperfects'; rocks with surface challenges (cracks, pits, etc). I still like them and didn't want to tumble them into oblivion, so I polished them anyway. The problem with macro photography is that it shows every imperfection (and rogue fuzz)! I really like seeing other people's photos, so I try to contribute. Hope you enjoy looking! [Click image for larger version] Bahia Agate - Brazil Flame Agate - Mexico Lace Agate Lake Superior Agate Green Moss Agate - India Mozambique Agate Pigeon Blood Agate - Utah Plume Agate Fossil Coral - Indonesia Fossil Turritella Dugway Geode babies - Utah (Self Collected) Jasper - Idaho Mountain Jasper Ocean Jasper - Madagascar Yellow-Green Jasper - Brazil Petrified Wood Unknown #1 Unknown #2 Unknown #3 Unknown #4 Unknown #5 Unknowns #6-8 (Might be Dryhead or TeePee Canyon, but I am not sure)

I always love seeing the pictures you take and can not agree more on macro photography showing every imperfection that I didn't even notice before.
That lake superior agate is a killer!

What a lovely connection! The reds are superb as are the unknowns.
Are the two black shots under the petrified wood also petrified wood?
Thanks for the show.

Thanks! Yeah, the Lake Superior Agate is very neat. It is also pretty small though.

This photo includes the black rock in question (the big black one at the top):

These are surprisingly relaxing to look at. I’ve been sitting here in line at my kids school for over 30 min, just staring at your pictures. Beautifully polished and photographed. Thank you!

Amazing Skills! (finding, polishing & photography!) :-) Thank you! I enjoy doing it, at least when I am not frustrated by it... 🙂 Amazing! And beautiful variety- you even threw in some OJ! Thanks! Haha, yeah... but I love me some Ocean Jasper!
Honestly, this piece of Ocean Jasper was already shaped and polished when I acquired it. I simply tumbled it more in an attempt to make it a bit better and improve the polish.
Amazing! And beautiful variety- you even threw in some OJ! Exactly my thought 😁 As others have said beautiful rocks and some really nice photos. Thanks for sharing! Thank you! I enjoy the contributions of others and try to return the favor (once in a while). These are surprisingly relaxing to look at. I’ve been sitting here in line at my kids school for over 30 min, just staring at your pictures. Beautifully polished and photographed. Thank you! I totally understand. I love looking at interesting photos. Thanks for looking! Wow !!!! Thanks!

Nice looking rocks. I just started rock tumbling recently but I'm getting good at it pretty quickly.

Beautiful depth in that green moss. Your dugways are neato. Thanks for all the eye candy

What a beautiful batch. The shaping and polish look top-notch. I rally like the Bahia and Laker “eye” agates.
