Beautiful tumbles! I am also a bit concerned about tumbling flower/sakura agates...
Thanks! I had fun with this batch! I was concerned about the white patches on the flower agates being softer and undercutting. Some of the white patches definitely had a different texture, and then I was worried about grit getting trapped in there. Overall I think they're a pretty rock though!
Thanks! I have always admired Mooka and this was my first time tumbling it. I am pretty happy with how it turned out. There are some fractures that kept chipping, so at some point I just had to accept it and push through. I was concerned about it taking a polish, I had read on this forum that people had problems with this stone... I loaded the barrel up to 80% with ceramics and let it tumble for about 14 days and maybe that helped...
