Really like the moss agate and its shape. Thanks, I just free formed all the pieces trying to follow a much as the natural shape of the pieces as possible. So I start with grinding away any too thin areas or bad areas to see what is left. Round off the sharp corners, then again pretty much follow the shape of the stone to minimize having to grind away a lot of material when using small slabs or scrap pieces of stone. Large slabs I generally use a template or break the slab then free form the smaller pieces.

I like the rhyolite, too. I'm attracted to bright colors.

I like the rhyolite, too. I'm attracted to bright colors. Totally made me think of Jeremy in The Secret of Nimh! LOL vegasjames - Those turned out fantastically well! The Rhyolite really is a standout, as others have already mentioned. I've been wondering how that Cataclasite was going to cab. I like how "busy" it looks!
